Any news from the Battle at the Center. I didn’t go because I’m being treated for bronchitis.

Good race with a good winner, both driver and car owner.

Kudos to POWRi for not running qualifiers after the heats. I feel that the Chilli Bowl format takes way to long, and needlessly confuses the vast majority of fans. A 9:08 checker flag for the A Main is nice for fans facing a long drive home.

100% agree about the Silly Bowl format. I quit caring as much after they changed it. Heats, last chances, features. Keep it simple.

I've only been once and it was when Powri was running it before. They had sixty seven cars. Ran ten hotlaps, ten heats, two consis and four qualifiers and were done by ten. I was very happy.

Im with ya though on not being able to figure out who starts where based on heat and qualifiers spread over fourteen races.

MassiveRaceFan 12/20/22 1:51 PM

Is POWRi going to be on Dirtvision next year?

I love the qualifers those are some of the best races of the night. Format is easy passing points top 40 locked into 4 qualifiers invert 6. Top 16 in points after those races locked into A.

Pole suffle or a 6 car dash are a waste of time. Just do a draw.
