Its Back
 

I have a lot of friends out there who most of them I"ve met from this web site, and they been wondering where I"ve been . Well the truth of the matter was computer was down ,but something else was on my mind. I"m not sure how to word this so I"m just going to say it. My cancer is back. Its in my stomach and colon again, I"ve been told its in stage 3. The doctors here in Evansville don"t seem to want anything to do with it as 3 of them have told me I should go back to IU Medical in Indy, where I was treated before for this, so that's where I"ll be heading. I"M NOT GIVING UP and I hope you all don"t give up on me either. I was thinking my friends should know , so there it is. I"ll be dropping little lines about whats happening . Love you guys and THANKS JIM :D

Said a prayer for you:D. This may sound dumb but my sis in law fought cancer, she was given 3 -6mos, she changed her diet & used a coffee enema, yeah gross huh:14: Well she lived another 7yrs doing that, said the coffee removes the bile built up in the colon from red meat:16 & releases enzymes that help fight cancer:31: Hopin for the best for you God Bless :6:

Prayers Jim. Keep fightin'. That's what Americans do. We stand up and rise above any and all challenges. My cousin is going through cancer again after fighting and beating Breast cancer 12 years ago and she is being put in hospice care this afternoon (We all know the end is near for her at age 53). Just try not to think about it..

Keep fighting my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can beat it again!!! Enjoy our conversations at Lincoln Park and other places and count on seeing you in the spring. Hang in there buddy and our thoughts and prayers go out to you. It's just another challenge in life that you can overcome.

Want to THANK YOU for all the encouragement and prayers you have shown me. These post sure brighten my day and kinda takes my mind off whats happening. I have said this long ago The BEST PEOPLE AROUND ARE RACE TRACK PEOPLE and you all are proving me right. Again THANK YOU ALL Jim :D

I am sorry to hear that; as always you continue in my thoughts and prayers! I need you to ride shotgun with me to Little Belleville for some great midget racing and barbecue around the corner from the track this coming season. I really enjoy your racing stories and you need to share some more with me while we cruise the interstate.

I am meeting my cancer Doctor tomorrow and see how he wants to handle this. The last couple bouts I"ve had haven"t been anything like this time as far as pain, used to feeling IDK I guess weird but no pain, this time it doubles me over kinda like I"ve gotten sucker punched. From what Doc has told me its tumors rubbing against my stomach lining,the pain pills do nothing . I"d love for him to ask if I"m ready for surgery right now. I"ll post tomorrow evening what our plan will be. As always THANK YOU ALL for the thoughts and prayers. I:ve always said RACING PEOPLE ARE THE BEST and again you all are proving me right. :D

Just got home from doctor, got good and bad news, the cancer is not only in my stomach and colon but also in my Pancreas. I was also told that if I thought my other operations were hard I better strap in tight for this one as it calls for a lot more of me to be cut out, plus its going to be about 12 hours under the knife. The good news lol yep there is some good news, I"m lucky cuz this is a slow moving cancer (I never thought any cancer could be good). I don"t know when surgery is yet as they will call me, I"m hoping soon as I am ready for this pain crap to be done. Again Thanks :D

Prayers for you and your family! From personal experience, IU Health in Indy is the place to be for all your medical needs. They will do what’s right for you, your family, and all of your medical needs! Good luck to a speedy and healthy recovery!!

Jim, I went through this with my wife, a year after I got out of the service, it is a bad thing for everyone involved, but prayer does help, and believe me I did a lot of it, she's 81 now, and getting stronger I think, so if 2 more praying for you will help, add us to the list! Bob

Mike buddy I"m posting on this wonderful site cuz this is where I have met so many of you guys. This way in place of trying to write to everyone and forgetting a couple (I"m not to smart) anybody can look and see how I"m doing. I hope you"re doing good in your battle. :D

I'm good, Jim. My issue, which was small in comparison, is all behind me and they have given me the green flag to go back out with no restrictions. Now you get good so we can have some lunch down the road.

Got a call from cancer doctor this morning. My surgery will be on Jan 7 at 7am. Only thing we"re worried about is if I"m strong enough from last surgery to have this one as this is a 12 hour one. I guess we"ll find out :D
