Bill definitely deserves our thoughts and prayers. He's had a rough time here recently. He's fought this thing so hard for so long. I joke with him sometimes and tell him he's a "legendary cancer fighter". In typical Bill fashion, he just denies that and says he's not doing anything that anybody else wouldn't do. But this is the same guy that created this thing Indiana Open Wheel that has had a profound effect on our racing scene and has always just stayed behind the scenes and not drawn any attention to himself. Indiana Open Wheel is the best of it's kind and that's for one reason and one reason only. IOW is a reflection of Bill Gardner. He'd deny that, though.:)
