There's a lot of new guys who have potential. Biro, Boat and Memmer come to mind.

"Newcomers" this year I think will be Jesse Cramer and Chase "Frisky Brisky" Briscoe

Josh Clemmons was impressive at Gas City. Also, even though we saw them a bit last year, Thomas Meseraull, Blake Fitzpatrick and Kenny Biro will make some noise this year, too.

I would have to say that Ricky Williams & Blake Fitzpatrick should OPEN some eyes this Indiana summer.

Wasn't Ricky Williams the Rookie of the Year in 2007 at Lawrenceburg?

Fitzpatrick, Meseraull, Clemmons were impressive at the two races I have seen this year.

Kuhn has also looked good, but we all know he is a proven driver in the midgets, so I am not suprised at all.

Josh Clemmons is doing the most with the least amount of resources. I don't know how much has changed over the off season, but if you would've looked in his trailer last year you would see close to no spares. He is on a shoe string budget, but that kid has always done well in everything he has driven, whether in was in karts or when he was in Focus midgets.

14 year old Caleb Armstrong I heard made his first start in a sprint car last weekend on dirt and looked pretty good. This young man is being tutored by Kevin Besecker in an Armstrong Farms car. He did a super good job at the Chili Bowl this year in a Keith Kunz car I believe making it all the way through to the B-Main his first time ever in a full size midget on dirt. With advice from Besecker and previous Armstrong driver Bryan Clauson and cousin Dakoda, who is only 16 himself and doing a really fine job, look for Caleb to be a quick learner. He does a really great job in the Kenyon Cars. :thumb

My first vote would be for cramer! But I was also impressed with Caleb's run last friday, also fitzpatrick has looked pretty good as well.:applaud: Oh and as far as a Sophomore season Jeff Bland Jr all the way.

Jesse Cramer is going to be really good in the sprint car. He reminds me of Brady Short and Jeff Bland, Jr who both came from the modified ranks.

Blake Fitzpatrick, Ryan Tusing, Chase Briscoe are the new comers that we will be pulling for. Having the pleasure to know all three - nice young gentlemen. Chase Briscoe will be our favorite, terrific kid. He done an excellent job first time out at Paragon last weekend and looking forward to seeing him at Bloomington Speedway. He is such a natural at racing, a real smooth driver for his age. Definitely believe you will be hearing Chase Briscoe's name alot this summer and in a good positive way. Let's go racing, Chaser. :checkered:

Jake is definately a newcomer; winchester was the 3rd time he has ever raced a sprint car period.

Thanks guys, you make a father proud. I know most of the folks here are dirt sprint car fans and unfortunately we don't make it out to the dirt races very often to see our racing buddy's perform. You know the routine work, work ,work, race, work, work.:Steer

Good luck to all the racers this season, thank God and the US Military for letting us all enjoy the sport we love so much in a time of trouble in many other places.
