5 Heats, top 3 transfer. 1st heat in chute pushing off now

Heat 1 finish: Cunningham, Hopkins, Creech, Morin

Heat 2 finish: Darland, Sussux, Beuchamp, Cottle, Ambrose

Heat 3 finish: Tyler Thomas, Boyles, Vangilder, Prather, Knight

Definitely need better time management

Would be different if it was the exception vs the norm. Lots of people setting around me said they will only be back for USAC.

Would not be an issue had the program not started 75 minutes late.

It was the first race of the season, with a nice car count and fireworks. I was just thankful to be back at the racetrack!

This is not the norm as you say ,most nights are ran off pretty quickly, but since tonight was opening night , everyone had to fill out paperwork for tax purposes,and also get payoff card which is time consuming,for as many cars that were here, pius ya got to see fireworks

Watching Cockrum come from deep in the field to finish second was worth the wait!!!

It was a very long night and chilly. Starting late only put them behind the 8 ball all night. Once they got going it was good racing, just took a while to get laps in.

. If you were addressing post #30, he meant Cockrum. Great run!

What time did everything wrap up? Had to split, work early in the morning.

Who won the second Sprint car feature, or did they even run it?

They ran the race and Brady Ottinger won it in black 4B car. It was a good race about 15 laps and mostly green. Mainly drivers you don’t hear much about, I cannot even remember a single ones name right now. They ran it right after the main feature, so I only needed to stay an extra 15 minutes to watch it. Good battle for 2nd place. I think 11 cars were in the race. Didn’t stay to watch features of other classes, didn’t get home to Noblesville until after 2 PM and I don’t drive the speed limit either.

It was Jeremy’s son Brady who won.
