Re: Best sponsor you have seen on the side of a race car?
Back in the 80's there was a Super Vee car sponsored by a European prophylactic company and it had a brightly colored unrolled one painted on the side of the car. I was at Milwaukee with my 9 year old son and we had Paddock passes. All around the car were scantly clothed models and my son looks at them then the car and asks what is that on the car!:3::3:

Gibson Chevrolet Quaker City, Ohio. That was on the Long Bros. sprinter back in the sixties. May not be the best sponsor but if it's still remembered decades later, it was effective. Not from there. Wonder if it's still GIBSON CHEVROLET, QUAKER CITY, OHIO?:31:

Re: Best sponsor you have seen on the side of a race car?
Years ago a car showed up for the third day of Shaheen's Super Weekend which was run on the Springfield Mile. Its sponsor was the Outhouse Engineering Company from East Jesus, Alabama. I didn't recognize the name of the driver, but I would bet anything the announced name wasn't his real name anyway. Always wondered who it really was.
