For Immediate Release - March 26, 2015 - Brownstown, IN

Due to extremely cold temps predicted for Saturday, the 7th Annual No Way Out 40 has been RESCHEDULED to Sunday, March 29.

Gates will open at NOON
DRIVER REGISTRATION - NOON - 3pm
HOT LAPS 3:30pm

High Saturday-37. High Sunday-55. No brainer. Thanks Brownstown Speedway, good call.

It is a good call, but I am going to have to cheat a little with the speed limits getting there after church lets out. :31::31:We are an hour behind you guys and it is a two hour drive to get there. I should be arriving just as hot laps are slated to start.

Absolutely disappointed to not be able to announce the no way out 40 this Sunday. Jesse Hockett was one of my favorites and I love calling this event as a tribute to him. It saddens me that I won't be there Sunday to do this event. Hopefully you all see an amazing event. Take care and be safe this weekend

Great Call! Thanks for the early start time, Now i can still tote the boy along and not have to worrie about school the next day!

Was all ready to brave the cold would not miss this race for anything been to all of them but thanks to your decision to move to sunday ill be warmer thank you verry much see you there

Tote the boy a friend to come along too!

Will the track be thawed by then? How soon will the temps be above freezing? They may have to get out the trucks with heated water.

Is there an entry list?

We don't have an entry list as we don't charge an entry fee

Someone is going to win $ 7500 . Nice pay day for sprint car racing in march. Hope to see some great racing. Hopefully they can get it in and all the teams and fans have a great time and enjoy the event. Thanks Brownstown speedway for giving us a chance to have a great racing event.

What is the weather suppose to be ? I know warmer but anything else?

Jim, Here is the latest for Brownstown weather. Mostly Cloudy with a 40% chance of showers by 5pm until 7pm, then it goes to 50%, and then 70% by 7pm.
Winds from the SSW at 10-15 MPH. High Temp is 54 and a low of 38.

Down to 20% now. Warming to 53 by 11pm. Let the dirt fly!!!!

With things starting at 3:30-4:00, I don't plan to be there at 11pm.

We're leaving Osgood area at noon. Hope to see some iow fans and some great non wing racing on a Sunday afternoon.

Hate to say it but 10pm would not beyond reality. You could be out of there by 8pm. You never know.

Out of curiosity, why is this race titled No Way Out?

You know...I've announced every one of them...and even I couldn't tell you lol

There were 27 sprints at 230 last I heard.

Just got a text from a buddy in the pits 28 sprints..

I just got here. There's hardly anybody in the stands. And the pits are looking pretty slim. Oh well. It's sprints in March. Although it feels like winter.

i was planning the trip but a 464 mile round trip with rain moving in by race time i stayed home, could be why the stands arent too full if other ppl thought the same way

I am one of those who thought the same way; two friends and I were going to come, but with rain more than likely coming before race end, we decided to stay home. Radar is not looking good, and Accuweather says rain will start in thirty minutes...
