What I’ve been told by others is that LPS is 50 miles from Indy and TSS is 150 miles from Indy. That, coupled with the time difference and the fact that TSS has walls and LPS doesn’t is why teams are willing to race for less.

Also figure in that LPS runs more regular shows (non MSCS or USAC) shows than other tracks. We all know a sacution race is harder to make than a regular Saturday night show :D |
