Sorry to correct you, but midget heat one was Cottle over Gage Walker, who, interestingly enough, also finished 1-2 in the feature. Thank you for providing all these results.

Another great race. I don't remember ever seeing this many great races in one year. Every night at a track is good, but this year it seems like I have seen more and more great finishes.

Why would we do that when we are probably seeing better racing here than ever? Makes no sense.

Totally agree with Brent. The racing this year at Kokomo was great and sometimes believe it or not we get spoiled and don't appreciate the racing there as much as it deserves. The numerous great finishes were hard to comprehend and we went away from there just shaking our heads at how lucky we are to have such a great race track so close (1 1/2 hours for us) to us. Attended Kokomo 14 times this year and never came away disappointed!! This is one of the reasons my wife and I moved out here to Indiana from Pennsylvania and we don't regret the move one bit. Indiana is the hot bed of wingless racing and having grown up on winged racing with Eastern modifieds our first division growing up this is the area to be if you love the close, side by side racing that only wingless sprint car racing can provide. Still enjoy an occasional winged show but nothing compares with the wingless racing especially in Indiana. Enjoy and appreciate what you have here and don't ever take it for granted and continue to support all the tracks in the Midwest that present wingless racing for our enjoyment.

See you tonight at Haubstadt, another awesome joint!!!!

Tyler Courtney worked his way through the crowd and stole whatever the pay difference was between 1st and 2nd, out of the race's only leader Dave Darland's pocket, on the last corner of the last lap, with the dexterity and skill of a professional pickpocket. The crime victim had no idea he was about to be victimized and by the time it happened, it was too late to do anything about it. It was a stunning finish and the kind of thing legends are made of.

And how about Gage Walker, in the midget feature? He comes to Kokomo and just flat out wrestled second place away from Chris Windom! You have to really be on your game to come to this track and win this style of battle, with this driver.

Great night at the track!

Jerry

Didn't say a thing about good racing. The Non Wing crowd is the one's that want a good paying race & right now someone is stepping up to the plate & taking a chance on big money shows. They are doing it for Wing Sprints & Late Models. So why not the Non Wingers ? I really like Idea of having the little guy's nationals so to speak.
