Anyone notice how more people get their updates on Twitter now? I can't figure out why.

Chris Windom, put on a great show, also Dave Steele running him down was great to watch. Kyle Hamilton, radio hurt him but a great drive. Jacob Wilson must have pitted 6 times, and finished 2 laps down, and 1 was a penalty late for passing the pace truck.

The push truck drivers were awful. 1 quit pushing a car when it got close to the track, leaving him setting at the entrance to turn 1.

Don't take this out on IOW. Anybody could have said the same thing on Twitter. A think a lot of people come here to see Jen's updates, when she does them and those are as good of updates as you're going to see anywhere. Nunn does them from Bloomington that are excellent quality. RP Racing does them from Haubstadt. Etc., etc, etc.

Santos had horrible bad luck tonight. Cottle blew up right in front of him in the back straight while leading and was pushed into the turn three wall barely missing the water barrels and he hit a ton ending his night.
He had the best car on the track before that accident. Armstrong was good too, but Bobby Santos had that field covered until some really bad luck with being in the wrong place at exactly the wrong time.

Ended up being a really good race, but they lost some really good cars due to the oil left on the track. Push trucks are always an issue, but this year was some of the worst I've seen. It is a shame that the push trucks play such a huge roll in the outcome. Three cars within about a second of each other after 500 laps is quite a testament to both the drivers and the crews.

And yes, the push trucks were horrible tonight. Unobservant idiots! Not paying attention to when a car came in and that they were going to need to be pushed back off.
And yes again, the officials in this race need to pay closer attention to what is going on! I think there were at least 3, maybe more, douching the track down with oil tonight and they black flagged one. Not a real great job there...everyone was slipping in oil tonight causing more attrition than needed to be.

If a driver forgets to put his car in gear not once but twice that's not the push truck drivers fault! They are only allowed to go push a car when the officials tell them to, not when pit members try to tell them what to do! There's a lot more that goes on than what a spectator sitting in the stands sees!

Daking11 5/24/15 2:57 AM

Yes from the stand or the crews at race tracks have no clue let me help these people understand when there is a car to be pushed it is not at the CREWS or the PUSHTRUCK drivers descetion it is the track that controls the truck they are told before the race to NOT listen to the crews but to listen to the OFFICALS at the track and as for the car that was left at the bottom of the track that is a demand from the track that the PUSHTRUCK drivers are to NOT push a car above the line so when people know what they are talking about then feel free to speak
