Mini sprint gear

Was wondering if someone could help with what would be a good gear to start with to run at lawrenceburg speedway for a mini sprint with a yamaha r1 motor? Dont know if i should go with second gear or third so both would help thanks

I would run a 14-52 in second gear. You don't want to have to shift on starts and restarts! My chart doesn't go up to what you are looking for in third gear. Maybe 13-56?

What year is the engine also? You don't want to be on the rev limiter at all so you can pull all the way into the corner as well.
